Job Type: Full-time
Location: Elburn, IL
Job Overview:
This is NOT a production welding job.
We’re looking for someone who can fabricate, weld, and handle mechanical work on heavy equipment. This role is ideal for someone who doesn’t just want to weld parts – but wants to build, repair, and problem-solve complete machines. You’ll be working on drill rigs, crawler carriers, trucks, trailers, and custom builds. Every job is different, and most require both fabrication and mechanical involvement.
If you’re looking to grow beyond welding into full equipment builds and repairs, this is a strong opportunity.

- Strong mechanical aptitude (heavy equipment, trucks, or similar)
- Ability to read prints and work independently
- Experience with hydraulics is a strong plus
- Comfortable switching between welding and mechanical tasks
- Problem solver who can think through a job—not just follow instructions
- Reliable, self-motivated, and takes pride in their work
Compensation and Benefits:
- $32–$38/hr depending on experience
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k)
- Steady, year-round work
- Variety of work – no repetitive production welding
- Opportunity to grow into advanced builds, troubleshooting, and equipment work
