ELBURN, ILLINOIS – Rig Source, Inc., an industry leader in drill rig sales, service, rentals, and parts, is proud to announce the launch of their new, redesigned website located at https://rigsourceinc.com. The new website takes the functionality of the old website and substantially upgrades it to better utilize new technology as well as better reflect the Rig Source brand, identity, and mission. The launch of this new website is another important step in the continued growth and success of Rig Source and will be used as a launchpad for continued improvements in access to information, customer service, and operations.
Aside from obvious aesthetic updates, the new website features a more robust product listing for both rental and purchase units. On each product listing, higher resolution images are being used with an automatic zoom feature so visitors will be able to hover over each image and gain a better, close-up view of each piece of equipment. Additionally, downloadable brochures with complete specifications are being added to both rental and for-sale units wherever possible.
Not all changes are aesthetic, either. Under the hood, the new site has been optimized for mobile device usage, a more robust search function, better connection with social media properties, and the architecture that the site is built on means that new improvements will be rolled out more rapidly than in the past.
According to Scott Evans, Marketing Manager for Rig Source, “in this first phase, we focused on the functionality our visitors relied on most to ensure we could match, and then improve, the site experience. In the coming months, we’ll be implementing additional features around rentals, sales, parts and tooling, drill rig service, and customer service to ensure that our site visitors have quick and easy access to the information and people they need.
